Martin's first design for my 1st routed layout. I like this design quite a bit. I will study it and perhaps make a few changes.

Falcon Creek - Mini Creek Raceway
Basement area where "Mini Creek Raceway" will sit:
The below model was built to get a feel for how my 1st routed track might look in the smaller room in my basement. The model was built scaled 1 inch = 1 foot. The blue foam base is 7 3/4 inches by 12 inches to represent a track base of 7' 9" by 12 feet.
My initial thoughts is that it is a little bit busy..jpg)

If I eventually move "Mini Creek" into the larger area of the basement, this is how it might be positioned:

Arends Small Routed Plan
In the top portion of the basement you can see where Falcon Creek Raceway sits today. You can also see in the top area where I eventually plan to build a larger routed layout (blue shading).
However, I need some practice so in the bottom portion of the basement I plan to build "Mini Creek Raceway". Mini Creek uses a layout area of 12' x 7'9".
